Greystone GT

About
Greystone GT

Greystone GT was founded in 2017 by Mark McLoughlin, with a clear ambition: to bring professional race-team standards to every part of the motorsport experience. Today we run a multi-championship racing programme across international GT series, alongside structured test days for teams and premium track experiences for supercar owners.

Mark McLoughlin

The story behind the name

Greystone GT traces its roots back to 1996, when founder and former racing driver Mark McLoughlin established a small family-run team, Greystone Race Engineering. The name came from the family home — Greystone Barn, near Silverstone — where the first workshop was built. From the outset, the team built a reputation for professionalism and performance.

Today, Greystone GT competes at the forefront of international motorsport, built on the same ambition, performance and uncompromising standards that defined it from the beginning.

The meaning behind our logo

The stag's head at the centre of the Greystone GT identity is a reference to Hertford — the town where the modern team was first established, before its move to Silverstone in 2020. The stag is Hertford's emblem, and carrying it forward keeps the team's roots in view.
